Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 2026
The short version
The Who Are You website (getwhoareyou.app) does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics. We do not install anything on your device without your knowledge.
What we do use
Essential browser storage
When you interact with the waitlist form, your browser may temporarily store form state in memory. This is cleared when you close the tab and is never sent to any third party.
In the mobile app
The Who Are You app stores the following locally on your device:
- Authentication token — keeps you logged in between sessions. Stored securely in the device keychain/keystore.
- Preferences — your in-app settings (radar on/off, notification preferences). Stored in SharedPreferences / UserDefaults.
- Daily like counter — resets at midnight. Stored locally to avoid unnecessary server calls.
None of this data is shared with advertisers or analytics platforms.
What we do NOT use
- Google Analytics or any behavioural analytics
- Facebook Pixel or any social tracking
- Advertising cookies or retargeting pixels
- Session recording tools (Hotjar, FullStory, etc.)
- Any third-party tracking scripts on getwhoareyou.app
Your choices
Because we don't use non-essential cookies, there is nothing to opt out of on this website. You can clear your browser storage at any time via your browser settings — this will have no effect on your waitlist registration, which is stored server-side.
In the app, you can delete your account at any time, which removes all server-side data. Local device storage is cleared when you uninstall the app.
Changes
If we ever introduce analytics or non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before doing so.
